1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate Beatrice F.
4 Shebesta on the occasion of her 100th birthday on December 18,
5 2011; and

6     WHEREAS, Beatrice Shebesta was born on December 18, 1911,
7 in Melcher, Iowa; she is one of the 10 children born to John
8 and Kate Wadle; and

9     WHEREAS, Beatrice Shebesta was employed at Servus Rubber in
10 Rock Island; she currently resides at Friendship Manor in Rock
11 Island; and

12     WHEREAS, Beatrice Shebesta is the wife of Raymond Shebesta;
13 she has one daughter, Audrey Burton, as well as 8 grandchildren
14 and 2 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

15     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
16 NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
17 we congratulate Beatrice F. Shebesta on the occasion of her
18 100th birthday and wish her many happy and healthy years to
19 come; and be it further

20     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

1 presented to Beatrice Shebesta as a symbol of our esteem and
2 respect.
