HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Richard "Richie" W. Chow of Chicago, who passed away on September 30, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Richard Chow was born on December 22, 1983; he was the son of Officer Richard Chow of the Cook County Sheriff's Office and Joyce Chow; and

WHEREAS, Richard Chow was the brother of Angela (Ryan) Sibich; he was engaged to be married to his fiancee, Sonia Olivo; and

WHEREAS, Richard Chow served honorably as a Deputy Sheriff for the Cook County Sheriff's Office; he was a graduate of Sheriff's Academy Class 05-01; and

WHEREAS, Richard Chow was an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Richard "Richie" W. Chow; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Richard Chow as an expression of our sympathy.
