HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the Carrollton High School Hawks boys baseball team on the occasion of winning the IHSA Class 1A State Tournament; and

WHEREAS, The Carrollton Hawks defeated Lanark (Eastland) 8-1 to claim victory at the IHSA Class 1A State Tournament; the team ended their season with a wonderful 31-1-1 record; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Carrollton Hawks are Jordan Kallal, Joey Coonrod, Cody Kraut, Ethan Frye, Kyle Kesinger, Ryan Palan, Dylan Barnett, Jordan Harr, Danny Williams, Kurtis Weber, Matthew Henson, Mike Fraley, Tanner Krumwiede, Sammy Coonrod, Brenton Walls, and Colton Lovel; the team's head coach is Greg Pohlman and the assistant coaches are Reg Pohlman and Luke Pohlman; and

WHEREAS, The Carrollton Hawks serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the members of the Carrollton High School Hawks boys baseball team on the occasion of winning the IHSA Class 1A State Tournament and wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Carrollton High School Hawks boys baseball team as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
