HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the administration and employees of Hearthstone Communities on the occasion of the organization's 125th anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Hearthstone Communities is a faith-based charitable organization that has served the people of northern Illinois since 1886; the organization's mission is to offer hope, healing, and purposeful living to older adults and children in the context of Christian communities; and

WHEREAS, Hearthstone Communities employees are encouraged to approach their work assignments as much more than a job and stress the values of Passionate Care, Responsiveness, Extra Mile Service, Integrity, and being Family Oriented; and

WHEREAS, Hearthstone Communities operates the Hearthstone Senior Living Community, a continuing care retirement community for over 200 seniors; the community features independent and assisted living, Alzheimer's disease and dementia care, skilled nursing care, and Medicare Certification programs; and

WHEREAS, Hearthstone Communities will celebrate the 125th anniversary of the organization with an evening of celebration and remembrance at the Woodstock Opera House on June 4, 2011; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the administration and employees of Hearthstone Communities on the occasion of the organization's 125th anniversary and wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Hearthstone Communities as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
