HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to honor Ron and Mary Ann Krohse for their many years of service at St. John's Lutheran School in New Berlin; and

WHEREAS, Ron and Mary Ann Krohse have served as teachers at St. John's Lutheran School since 1968; Mary Ann teaches grades 1 through 4 in the school's downstairs classroom, while Ron teaches grades 5 through 8 in the school's upstairs classroom; and

WHEREAS, Ron and Mary Ann Krohse both attended Concordia Teachers College near Chicago, where they were given an assignment to teach at St. John's; the couple married 10 days before they arrived in New Berlin; and

WHEREAS, Ron and Mary Ann Krohse have both gained sterling reputations for their effective teaching styles and the close bonds they create with their students; and

WHEREAS, Ron and Mary Ann Krohse serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the many students who have attended St. John's Lutheran School and the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we honor Ron and Mary Ann Krohse for their many years of service at St. John's Lutheran School in New Berlin and wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Ron and Mary Ann Krohse as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
