1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Village of
4 Glencoe on the occasion of winning the 17th annual Water Taste
5 Contest during the Illinois Section American Water Works Annual
6 Conference; and

7     WHEREAS, The Water Taste Contest was held on March 22,
8 2011; the judges based their decision on the water's clarity,
9 odor, and taste; and

10     WHEREAS, The Village of Glencoe now plans to enter the
11 national water tasting contest, which will be held in June of
12 2011; therefore, be it

13     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
14 NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
15 we congratulate the Village of Glencoe on the occasion of
16 winning the 17th annual Water Taste Contest and wish it
17 continued success in the future; and be it further

18     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19 presented to Glencoe Village Manager Paul M. Harlow as a symbol
20 of our esteem and respect.
