HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives wish to recognize the outstanding performance
4by the student athletes and coaches of the Central Catholic
5High School Varsity Girls Basketball team during the 2010-2011
6basketball season; and
 
7    WHEREAS, The Central Catholic High School Varsity Girls
8Basketball team finished the 2010-2011 season with an overall
9season record of 32 wins and 1 loss; they were Inter-City
10Champions, Corn Belt Conference Champions, and State Farm
11Classic Champions; and
 
12    WHEREAS, The Central Catholic High School Varsity Girls
13Basketball team advanced through the IHSA Class 2A Girls
14basketball tournament and won the Regional championship, the
15Sectional championship, the Super-Sectional championship, and
16were Runners Up, Class 2A; and
 
17    WHEREAS, The team is led by Head Basketball Coach Debbie
18Coffman and Assistant Coaches Mendy Smith, Jason Davis, and
19Shari Mitchell; and
 
20    WHEREAS, The team managers are Ali Means and Allison
21Lancaster; and

1    WHEREAS, The team members are: Lindsay Stopa, Allie Norton,
2Danielle Davis, Maggie Hayes, Emily Beoletto, Jess Reinhart,
3Lee Hofmann-Instone, Megan O'Donnell, McKenzie Jamison, Annie
4O'Malley, Caroline Holt, and Molly McGraw; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
6NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
7we congratulate the student athletes and coaching staff of the
8Central Catholic High School Varsity Girls Basketball team on
9being Runners Up in the Illinois High School Association Class
102A basketball finals; and on having Jess Reinhart, Allie
11Norton, and Emily Beoletto named to the First Team Corn Belt
12All-Conference Team, and on having Coach Debbie Coffman named
13Coach of the Year by the Illinois Basketball Coaches
14Association for Class 2A in District 15, and on an outstanding
15season; and be it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the members of the Central Catholic High School
18Varsity Girls Basketball team as a symbol of our respect and
19esteem.
