HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Since 2003, Dr. Joseph E. Nyre has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Hope Institute for Children and Families; and

WHEREAS, During his tenure at The Hope Institute, Dr. Nyre has transformed both that organization and the way in which services are provided to children with cognitive disorders, particularly those with multiple disabilities; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Nyre has expanded the programmatic offerings of The Hope Institute through the expansion of living, learning, and health programs, growth of The Autism Program of Illinois into the nation's largest statewide network for autism services and support, creation of the Noll Medical Pavilion, and the opening of The Hope Institute Learning Academy in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Through his many efforts, Dr. Nyre has touched the lives of children and families from Rockford to Cairo and improved the delivery of care for generations to come; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Dr. Nyre on his many accomplishments and wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Dr. Joseph E. Nyre as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
