HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Sandy Benson on the occasion of her 20 years of dedicated service at Edward Hospital & Health Services; and

WHEREAS, Sandy Benson began her career at Edward Hospital & Health Services as a part-time physician referral expert; she steadily ascended through the ranks, eventually taking over management responsibility for the physician referral department and Edward's corporate sales team; and

WHEREAS, Sandy Benson has served as the lead community relations expert at Edward for the past 10 years; she also serves as a successful lobbyist on behalf of Edward and its diverse interests; and

WHEREAS, Sandy Benson has been associated with countless municipal, educational, and civic organizations throughout the years; and

WHEREAS, Sandy Benson and her husband, John, along with their son, Garth, and his wife, Sereen, have lived in the western suburbs of Chicago for a generation; Sandy and John currently enjoy doting on their granddaughter, Hadley; and

WHEREAS, Sandy Benson serves as a model of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Sandy Benson on the occasion of her 20 years of dedicated service at Edward Hospital & Health Services and wish her continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Sandy Benson as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
