HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Theodora "Teddy" Trombino of Waukegan on her 100th birthday, March 7, 2011; and

WHEREAS, She was born on March 7, 1911 in Kenosha, Wisconsin; she graduated from high school in 1929; and

WHEREAS, She met Robert Trombino, Sr. at a dance in Gurnee; after dating for a year and a half, they were married in Chicago on November 29, 1930; and

WHEREAS, They opened Lake County Office Equipment in 1945; the company is still serving the office needs of the Waukegan area today and is run by the third generation of the family under the name of Office Plus of Lake County; and

WHEREAS, Theodora and Robert were married for 63 years and were the proud parents of James and Robert Trombino, Jr.; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Theodora Trombino on her 100th birthday and wish her all the best in health and happiness; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Theodora Trombino as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
