1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of Boy
4 Scout Troop #45 of Chanonee District, Three Fires Council, in
5 Glen Ellyn, as they celebrate the 100th anniversary of the
6 Troop; and

7     WHEREAS, For 100 years Troop #45 has taught scouting and
8 life skills to boys in the Glen Ellyn area; and

9     WHEREAS, More than 80 members of Troop #45 have earned the
10 rank of Eagle Scout; and

11     WHEREAS, Troop #45 has contributed thousands of hours of
12 service benefitting local neighborhoods, organizations, and
13 the greater Glen Ellyn community; therefore, be it

14     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
15 NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
16 we recognize and honor Boy Scout Troop #45 of Chanonee
17 District, Three Fires Council, on this momentous occasion; and
18 be it further

19     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
20 presented to Boy Scout Troop #45 of Chanonee District, Three
