HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to recognize Carmen Molinaro of Algonquin for his work as Director of Golf for the Village of Buffalo Grove; and

WHEREAS, Carmen Molinaro has served at Buffalo Grove Golf Course since 1973; in 1977, he assumed the title of head golf professional at the course and became a member of the PGA of America; in 1987, he was named director of golf for the Village of Buffalo Grove, overseeing both the Buffalo Grove Golf Course and the Arboretum Club; and

WHEREAS, In 1995, Carmen Molinaro was elected into the Illinois High School Coaches Golf Hall of Fame for his efforts in promoting junior and high school golf programs; in 2005, he was honored as the Illinois PGA Public Merchandiser of the Year; in 2007, he was the 53rd recipient of the PGA Gold Professional of the Year Award, the highest honor bestowed on a PGA professional; and

WHEREAS, Carmen Molinaro serves as a model of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we recognize Carmen Molinaro for his work and wish him continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Carmen Molinaro as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
