HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Beverly Turner, who passed away on August 6, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Turner was born on March 25, 1955; her parents were Mack Williams and Jeanette Glover; she married Ollie Turner in 1985; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Turner was a graduate of DuSable High School; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Turner served her country with pride as a telecommunication center operator in the United States Army; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Turner received Jesus Christ as her Savior and attended Christ Outreach Temple, where she met her future husband; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Turner is preceded in death by her father, Mack Williams; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Turner is survived by her husband, Pastor Ollie Turner; her children, Brian Ollie Turner and Tamara Monique Turner; her mother, Jeanette Glover; her siblings, Paul Glover, Barbara Freeman, Chiquita Page, Lawrence Sanders, Dennis Sanders, Cynthia Taylor, Spring Edwards, Lisa Jones, Christopher Sanders, Maurice Sanders, and Michelle King; and her many nephews, nieces, other family members, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Beverly Turner; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Beverly Turner as an expression of our sympathy.
