HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Difficult State budget decisions were required during the 2012 session of the 97th General Assembly; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that if gubernatorial action results in additional funding emerging during the approval of the fiscal year 2013 State budget, the General Assembly's first funding priority will be to restore adequate funding levels to general State aid in order to provide a better education for students in this State.
