HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Stephanie DiPrima on her retirement as Principal of Queen of All Saints School in June of 2012; and

WHEREAS, She has served 38 years in the Archdiocese of Chicago, 34 as a school principal in 5 schools; and

WHEREAS, She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dominican University and her Master of Arts degree from Loyola University; and

WHEREAS, She has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Dominican University for 11 years and as Principal at Queen of All Saints since 2000; in 2008, Queen of All Saints was designated a National Blue Ribbon school by the United States Department of Education; and

WHEREAS, She is the architect of the Faith Partner program at Queen of All Saints and many other positive educational programs for the students and alumni of the school; her service also includes time working at St. Viator High School and as a principal at St. Martha's, St. Monica's, Sacred Heart, and Our Lady of Hope Schools; and

WHEREAS, She is be honored for her nearly 4 decades of service to the Archdiocese of Chicago, working to provide an excellent education to children as a principal, administrator, and teacher to hundreds of students over the years; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Stephanie DiPrima on her retirement and wish her all the best in her future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Stephanie DiPrima as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
