SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

430 ILCS 15/8 new

Amends the Gasoline Storage Act. Provides that if an empty tank inspection is requested or required, then a business engaged in the underground storage of gasoline has 90 days after notice of the inspection to use the stored gasoline. Effective immediately.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning safety.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Gasoline Storage Act is amended by adding Section 8 as follows:

(430 ILCS 15/8 new)

Sec. 8. Underground tanks; use of gasoline. If an empty tank inspection is requested or required, then a business engaged in the underground storage of gasoline has 90 days after notice of the inspection to use the stored gasoline.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
