SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

H.B. 5727, 96th G.A., Sec. 99

Amends House Bill 5727 of the 96th General Assembly, if and only if that House Bill becomes law, to change the effective date from an immediate effective date to April 15, 2011. Effective immediately, or upon House Bill 5727 becoming law, whichever is later.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning local government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. If and only if House Bill 5727 of the 96th General Assembly becomes law, then "An Act concerning local government" (House Bill 5727 of the 96th General Assembly) is amended by changing Section 99 as follows:

Sec. 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect April 15, 2011 upon becoming law.
