740 ILCS 130/4  from Ch. 80, par. 304

    Amends the Premises Liability Act by making a technical change concerning premises used for recreational purposes.

1    AN ACT concerning civil law.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Premises Liability Act is amended by
5changing Section 4 as follows:
 
6    (740 ILCS 130/4)  (from Ch. 80, par. 304)
7    Sec. 4. Notwithstanding this Act, the the liability of any
8owner or occupier of a premises to anyone who enters or uses
9those premises for a recreational purpose, as defined by "An
10Act to limit the liability of landowners who make their land
11and water area available to the public for recreational
12purposes", approved August 2, 1965, as now or hereafter
13amended, is governed by that Act.
