1     AN ACT concerning local government.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by adding
5 Section 11-5-10 as follows:

6     (65 ILCS 5/11-5-10 new)
7     Sec. 11-5-10. Sound devices. The corporate authorities of a
8 municipality may, by ordinance, regulate sound devices. For the
9 purposes of this Section, "sound devices" means any radio, tape
10 recorder, cassette player, or any other device for receiving
11 broadcast sound or reproducing recorded sound.
