SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Jack L. Foley of Bloomington, who passed
4away on June 16, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jack Foley was born in Clinton to Edward J. and
6Bernice L. Gowdy Foley on February 9, 1931; he proudly served
7in the United States Air Force during the Korean War; he
8married JoAnn Todd in Kenney on December 20, 1951; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Jack Foley worked for General Electric in
10Bloomington for 36 years; after his retirement in 1991, he
11worked with his grandchildren at Stark Excavating for over 20
12years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Jack Foley attended Calvary United Methodist
14Church in Normal; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Jack Foley was preceded in death by his parents;
16one brother; and one sister; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Jack Foley is survived by his wife, JoAnn; his
18daughters, Debra Ann (William) McNamara and Patricia (Peter)
19Stark-Estes; his grandchildren, David Stark Jr., Gregory
20Stark, Sarah Stark, and Karen (Brad) Frye; and his four

1great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Jack L. Foley and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
5friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Jack Foley as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
