1 SENATE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Jennifer Sue "Jenny" (nee Ivers) Rethorn
4 of Jerseyville, who passed away on May 11, 2013; and

5     WHEREAS, Jennifer Rethorn was born on March 23, 1971, in
6 Jerseyville to William and Rosemary (nee Blasa) Ivers; she
7 attended Kane Grade School and graduated in 1988 from Jersey
8 Community High School in Jerseyville; she earned her bachelor
9 of arts in psychology from Blackburn College in Carlinville;
10 and

11     WHEREAS, Jennifer Rethorn worked at Whites Greenhouse and
12 Nursery in Godfrey and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in
13 Jerseyville; and

14     WHEREAS, Jennifer Rethorn was preceded in death by her
15 grandparents, Ward and Elma Ivers and Fred and Lillian Blasa;
16 and

17     WHEREAS, Jennifer Rethorn is survived by her parents; her
18 son, Koty Rethorn; her daughter, Kathrine Rose Perkins; and her
19 sisters, Patricia "Trish" Ivers and Kelly (Jim) Little;
20 therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
2 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3 Jennifer Rethorn, and extend our sincere condolences to her
4 family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
5 further

6     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to the family of Jennifer Rethorn as an expression of
8 our deepest sympathy.
