SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Charles "Chuck" Bueche of Naperville, who passed away on March 19, 2010; and

WHEREAS, Charles "Chuck" Bueche was born May 15, 1928 in Elgin, to the late Charles F. and Jessie (Brown) Bueche; and

WHEREAS, Charles Bueche was a class of 1952 graduate of North Central College with a Bachelor's degree; he served his country during World War II in the United States Army; he was employed with Fannie May Candies from 1968 to 1993 as VP of Employee Benefits; and

WHEREAS, He was a long time member of Wesley United Methodist Church; he was a Past Commander and Life member of American Legion Post #43; he was also a life member of VFW #3873 of Naperville; he served as President of Naperville Y's-Men's & Women's Club through Y's Men International; he was a charter member of Jaycees of Naperville where he served local, State, and national offices; he was also an active volunteer in many church and community activities including the Boy Scouts, YMCA, and the High School Booster Club; and

WHEREAS, He was the beloved husband of Audrey (nee Rambow) Bueche for 58 years; the loving father of Debra (Gregory) Hepner, Denise (Michael) Deitz, and Douglas Bueche; he was a proud grandfather of his 10 grandchildren, Russell, Judy, and Daniel Hepner, Sean, Alicia, Jacob, and Alan Deitz, Brittany Bueche, Lacy, and Cherie Chapman; and the dear brother of Robert Bueche; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Charles "Chuck" Bueche; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Charles Bueche as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
