SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Peggie H. Castelli Castruita of Sun City, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2010; and

WHEREAS, She was born on October 8, 1945, in Alton to Harley Sparks and Virginia Douglas Sparks; and

WHEREAS, Peggie spent many years as a patient consultant for Simmons Cooper Law Firm, working with cancer patients who were suffering from mesothelioma; she loved spending time with family and friends; and she loved the outdoors, music and dancing; and

WHEREAS, She had a compassionate heart and never met a stranger; Peggie loved her life and always had a smile on her face; and

WHEREAS, Peggie Castruita is survived by her husband, Grabiel Castruita; her children, Matt and Tracy Castelli, Sean Castruita and his wife, Leigh Neal Castruita, Michelle Hernandez and son-in-law, Fred Hernandez, and Andrea Castruita; her three grandchildren, Ava Castruita, Jacob Neal, and Adam Neal; her brothers, Reggie and Douglas Sparks; and her sisters-in-law, Gayle and Donna Sparks; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Peggie Castruita; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Peggie Castruita as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
