SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mycol Jermaine French of Zion, who passed away on February 1, 2010; and

WHEREAS, He was born July 13, 1980; he attended Zion Benton High School; and

WHEREAS, He loved to joke around; his pride was his business "The Booth," a photography and music studio; he loved technology, dogs, and spending time with his family; and

WHEREAS, Mycol French was a blessed, young father of five beautiful daughters, Ta'mya, Amyiah, twins; Zion and Ziara, and My'Niyah; he is also survived by his mother, Germaine Nixon; his father, Michael French; his three brothers, Brandon French, Myron Browning, and Shawn French; his grandparents, Hattie and Charles Nixon; his closest aunt, Dianna Patrick (Nigel); his aunts, Theresa Carmichael (Bryan), Tabatha Puhr, Juanita, and Darlene French; his uncles, Jerome (Myra), Charles Nixon, Jeffrey (Cathy), and Paul (Rosetta) French; his 21 cousins; a host of nieces and nephews; his special friends, Phaneesha Jenkins, Demitirus Lindsey, Hector Perez, and John Allen; and many other special friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Mycol French; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mycol French as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
