SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Paul M. Willi of Peoria, who passed away
4 on October 9, 2009; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Paul Willi was born on August 24, 1943, in
6 Decatur; his parents were Carl H. and Corinne Janovetz Willi;
7 he married Cathi E. Baker on February 10, 1968, in L'Erable;
8 and
 
9     WHEREAS, Paul Willi was a graduate of the Spalding
10 Institute in Peoria; and
 
11     WHEREAS, Paul Willi served his country with pride and
12 distinction as a member of the United States Navy; and
 
13     WHEREAS, Paul Willi was the owner and operator of Paul
14 Willi Land Surveying in Macomb; and
 
15     WHEREAS, Paul Willi was a member of St. Bernard Catholic
16 Church and the church's Men's Club; he was also a member of the
17 North American Fishing Club and the Illinois Land Surveyors
18 Association; and
 
19     WHEREAS, Paul Willi was preceded in death by his parents

1 and his daughter, Barbara Willi; and
 
2     WHEREAS, Paul Willi is survived by his wife, Cathi; his
3 stepmother, Mary Willi; his daughters, Sharon (Lee)
4 Dentlinger, Carolyn Watts, and Terri Willi; his grandchildren,
5 Hannah, Ben, Alex, and Kayla; his brothers, Bob (Sharey) Willi,
6 John (Sue) Willi, Dave (Michelle) Willi, Ed (Mary Angela)
7 Willi, Mark (Dana) Willi, Pete (Mary) Willi, and Martin (Mary)
8 Willi; his sisters, Dr. Martha (Don Schwingel) Willi and Mary
9 Hayden; and his stepbrothers, Dave (Lucy) Rahn and John (Sandy)
10 Rahn; therefore, be it
 
11     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
12 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
13 his family and friends, the passing of Paul M. Willi; and be it
14 further
 
15     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16 presented to the family of Paul Willi as an expression of our
17 sympathy.
