SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Norma J. Baxter of Creve Coeur, who passed away on October 13, 2009; and

WHEREAS, She was born November 13, 1938 in Peoria, to Percy and Pearl Byrd; she married Ronald Baxter on June 30, 1957, in Creve Coeur; and

WHEREAS, Norma Baxter was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved animals; and

WHEREAS, Norma Baxter is survived by her husband, Ronald; her sons, George (Barbara) Baxter and Donald (Tracy) Baxter; her grandchildren, Haley Baxter and Logan Baxter; her sisters, Doris, Delores, Donna, Lois, and Barb; and her brothers, Larry and Terry; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Norma Baxter; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Norma Baxter as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
