SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Monica Elizabeth Walter of Aurora, who
4 passed away on September 14, 2009; and
 
5     WHEREAS, She was born August 15, 1917, in Aurora and
6 married Florian A. Walter on September 28, 1938; and
 
7     WHEREAS, She was a member of Holy Angels Parish for many
8 years, a member of the Third Order of St. Francis, and
9 volunteered for several years at the Holy Angels Parish Pantry
10 and at the Public Action to Deliver Shelter (P.A.D.S.) Program
11 at Hesed House; and
 
12     WHEREAS, Monica was a loving mother, grandmother,
13 great-grandmother, and friend; and
 
14     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband of 57
15 years, Florian A. Walter; her parents, Terrence M. and Anna
16 (Carroll) Coyne; her three brothers, Francis, Richard, and
17 Terrence Coyne; her sister, Ruth Anne Coyne; and a sister in
18 infancy, Mary Lucille Coyne; and
 
19     WHEREAS, Monica Walter is survived by her children, Florian
20 T. (Carole) Walter, Carol A. Julian, Judy Walter, Terrance R.

1 (Patricia) Walter, Ronald J. (Judy Kay) Walter, Rita Walter
2 Carney, Keith F. (Veronica) Walter, Paul G. (Consuelo) Walter,
3 and Maggie (Michael) Mayer; her 27 grandchildren; her 55
4 great-grandchildren; her sister, Martha Tringali; and numerous
5 nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
6     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
7 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
8 her family and friends, the passing of Monica Walter; and be it
9 further
 
10     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11 presented to the family of Monica Walter as a symbol of our
12 sincere sympathy.
