SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Edward J. Gallagher; and

WHEREAS, Edward Gallagher retired from the Continental Can Company after many years of dedicated service; and

WHEREAS, Edward Gallagher was the beloved husband of the late Jean (nee Powers); the loving dad of Edward (June) Gallagher and Nancy (Alan) Nowacki; the proud grandfather of 8 and the great-grandfather of 24; and the dear brother of Agnes Schaefer; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Edward J. Gallagher; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Edward Gallagher as an expression of our sympathy.
