SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

5 ILCS 90/10

Amends the Gender-Neutral Statutes Commission Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the Commission's duties.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Gender-Neutral Statutes Commission Act is amended by changing Section 10 as follows:

(5 ILCS 90/10)

Sec. 10. Duties; report.

(a) The The Gender-Neutral Statutes Commission shall consult with the Legislative Reference Bureau and other interested parties on the fiscal impact and other consequences of undertaking a comprehensive effort to make the Illinois Compiled Statutes gender neutral.

(b) The Gender-Neutral Statutes Commission shall report its findings to the General Assembly by January 15, 2004.
