1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 920

2     BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
3 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
4 the Board of Higher Education shall study the feasibility of
5 developing a 2-year budgeting cycle for public institutions of
6 higher education so that these institutions may plan for the
7 better utilization of allocated and other funds; and be it
8 further

9     RESOLVED, That the Board of Higher Education shall make
10 recommendations to the General Assembly on the feasibility of a
11 2-year budgeting cycle by filing a report as provided in
12 Section 3.1 of the General Assembly Organization Act on or
13 before September 1, 2010; and be it further

14     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15 presented to the Board of Higher Education.
