1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Teutopolis
4 Junior High School 8th Grade Girls Class 8-3A Basketball team,
5 the Wooden Shoes, on winning the State Championship; and

6     WHEREAS, The Teutopolis Girls beat Green Valley Midwest
7 Central on December 17, 2009 with a close score of 19-17; and

8     WHEREAS, The Head Coach of the Teutopolis Girls is Mick
9 Deters and the Assistant Coach is Steve Fritcher; team
10 assistants are Kara Schwinke and Tia Walker; and

11     WHEREAS, The member of the Teutopolis Girls Basketball team
12 are Charlotte Wente, Maci Pruemer, Lauren Jansen, Madeline
13 Hartke, Katelyn Esker, Taylor Deters, McKenzie Reisner,
14 Jessica Schumacher, Haley Giles, Cierra Thompson, Katelyn
15 Smith, Morgan Deters, Kali Rieman, and Lacy Ludwig; therefore,
16 be it

17     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 congratulate the Teutopolis Junior High School 8th Grade Girls
20 Basketball team and wish them continued success in the future;
21 and be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to the Teutopolis Junior High School 8th Grade Girls
3 Basketball team as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
