1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the St. Anthony
4 Grade School 8th Grade Girls Class 8-1A Basketball team on
5 winning the State Championship; and

6     WHEREAS, The St. Anthony Girls, the Bullpups, beat the
7 Springfield Christian Girls 40-29 on December 12, 2009 for the
8 title and finished the season with a 22-4 record; and

9     WHEREAS, The Head Coach of the Bullpups is Ron Niebrugge
10 Jr.; the Assistant Coaches are Jeff Richards, Tom Steppe, Tim
11 Walsh, and Kent Schmidt; and

12     WHEREAS, The members of the Bullpups are Maggie Mumm, Lexie
13 Niebrugge, Kate Richards, Lauren Schmidt, Kristen Schuette,
14 Lane Steppe, Makayla Walsh, and Lauren Wendt; therefore, be it

15     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
16 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
17 congratulate the St. Anthony Grade School 8th Grade Girls Class
18 8-1A Basketball team and wish them continued success in the
19 future; and be it further

20     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

1 presented to the St. Anthony 8th Grade Girls Basketball team as
2 a symbol of our respect and esteem.
