HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Turner Lady Titans 7th grade volleyball team of Jonathan Turner Junior High School in Jacksonville on winning first place in the State volleyball tournament; and

WHEREAS, The Lady Titans had a season record of 24 wins and only two losses; and

WHEREAS, The Lady Titans had the furthest advancement in postseason in school history; and

WHEREAS, The Head Coach of the Lady Titans is Tiffaney Rains; the Assistant Coach is Paula Stewart; and the Managers are Hannah DeGroot and Anna Fergurson; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Turner Lady Titans are: Lauren Hadden, Tiffanie Lacy, Clara Lee, Sarah Khan, Katie Crawford, Maddy Albers, Sarah Thornley, Jacey Pate, Sami Suttles, Kirsten McGee, Brooke Woods, Jaelyn Keene, Maria Rubin de Celis, Kaylie Steckel, and Brisco Esquivel; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate everyone involved in the Turner Lady Titans championship season and wish them the best in their future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Turner Lady Titans as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
