HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Ron Logeman on the occasion of his retirement as Principal of Lisle Senior High School; and

WHEREAS, Ron Logeman started his education career after graduating from Metropolis High School and the University of Illinois; he then began teaching at Westmont High School in 1977; in 1978, he began teaching English at Lisle Senior High School; and

WHEREAS, In addition to teaching English, Ron Logeman coached football, basketball, and baseball at Lisle; shortly after becoming Lisle Senior High School's Assistant Principal, he was promoted to the position of Principal in 1984; and

WHEREAS, Ron Logeman has given 32 years of service to Lisle High School; and

WHEREAS, The students, faculty, and members of the Lisle community have often commented on Ron Logeman's positive character and his ability to always have a smile on his face; and

WHEREAS, Ron Logeman has committed himself to excellence in both education and his civic duties; he has inspired and served as a role model for both children and adults throughout his life; and

WHEREAS, Ron Logeman's wife, Debbie, and his 3 children, Courtney, Matthew, and Drew, are all proud of Ron's accomplishments during his career; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Ron Logeman on the occasion of his retirement and his successful career as an educator and civil service leader; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Ron Logeman as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
