| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | | 3 |
| Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Peter | | 4 |
| "Pete" Dawidziak of the Dundee and Elgin area, who passed away | | 5 |
| on May 10, 2010; and
| | 6 |
| WHEREAS, He was born March 12, 1944, in Poland, the son of | | 7 |
| Nicholas and Frances Dawidziak; and
| | 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Dawidziak was a veteran and served in the | | 9 |
| Army; he had worked at ITW for 30 plus years prior to his | | 10 |
| retirement; and
| | 11 |
| WHEREAS, He was the Post Commander of the VFW Post# 2298 in | | 12 |
| West Dundee, and former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose | | 13 |
| Lodge #799; and
| | 14 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and his | | 15 |
| wife, Tessie, in 2004; and
| | 16 |
| WHEREAS, Peter "Pete" Dawidziak is survived by his | | 17 |
| daughters; Jessie (Jon) Gospodarek, Michelle (Clarence) | | 18 |
| Herrmann, Lori (Steve) Szurgot, Angela (Scott) Speed, and | | 19 |
| Crystal (Arturo) Rosario; his grandchildren, Justin (Dixie), | | 20 |
| Jacklyn, Joshua, Darlene, Tessa, Ryne, Jakob, Nicholas, |

| Nicole, Karinia, Lexzandro, Halina, Andreas, and Phabion; his | | 2 |

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | | 6 |
| NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | | 7 |
| mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Peter | | 8 |
| "Pete" Dawidziak; and be it further
| | 9 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | | 10 |
| presented to the family of Peter "Pete" Dawidziak as a symbol | | 11 |
| of our sincere sympathy.
