HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Anthony and Karen Martino of Chicago on their 25th wedding anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Anthony and Karen met in the eighth grade while attending Dore School; they were married on May 11, 1985 at the Wayside Chapel in Palos; and

WHEREAS, Anthony owns his own auto parts business, ASM Company, and Karen works as an Administrative Assistant for the Cook County Bureau of Human Resources; and

WHEREAS, Their son, Anthony James Martino, is an Illinois State Trooper; they are also the proud owners of three Yorkshire terriers, Mickey, Mia, and Max, who is Anthony's favorite; and

WHEREAS, The Martino's attend St. Symphorosa Church; and

WHEREAS, Together, they will renew their vows in Key West, Florida, on May 14, 2010; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Anthony and Karen Martino and wish them continued happiness for years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Anthony and Karen Martino as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
