HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Greg Moats has served as a teacher, coach, and administrator for over 34 years in southwestern Illinois; and

WHEREAS, Greg Moats has positively impacted the lives of thousands of students during his career; and

WHEREAS, Greg Moats has been an ambassador of his community and his profession for over 34 years; and

WHEREAS, Greg Moats is affiliated with numerous professional organizations, including the Illinois Association of School Administrators, the IASA Advisory Board, the District 201 Foundation Board, the Southwestern Association of School Administrators' Executive Board, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the Educational League of Illinois, the Belleville Area Superintendents Association, the Illinois Principals Association, and the Illinois High School Districts Organization; and

WHEREAS, Greg Moats has fostered numerous positive relationships within the Belleville School District 201 community; and

WHEREAS, Greg Moats is an energetic, thoughtful, people-oriented, and dedicated family man; and

WHEREAS, Greg Moats feels that it is his responsibility to ensure that there is a teacher in every classroom who cares and that every student learns, grows, and feels as a human being every day; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we we congratulate Greg Moats on the occasion of his retirement and wish him many happy and healthy retirement years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Greg Moats as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
