HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the Oswego High School Lady Panthers basketball team on the occasion of the team's excellent season; and

WHEREAS, The Oswego Lady Panthers performed admirably during the 2009-2010 season, which culminated in a 4th place finish in the IHSA Class 3A tournament; and

WHEREAS, The Oswego Lady Panthers finished their season with a phenomenal 29-4 record; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Oswego Lady Panthers are Taylor Paisley, Brittany Maertzig, Shianne Williams, Brittany Collier, Alex Tiffany, Lauren Rembold, Megan Rembold, Samiya Wright, Ariana Alvarez, Katie Patton, Rosanna Gambino, Mycah Neubaum, Alexis McClain, Colleen Purcell, and Paige Harmon; the team's coach is Chad Pohlmann and the assistant coaches are John Carlson, Tim Harris, Marie Strejc-Woods, Bobby Wiemann, Maria Peters, and Lauren Sample; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Oswego Lady Panthers serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the members of the Oswego High School Lady Panthers basketball team on the occasion of the team's excellent season and wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Oswego Lady Panthers head coach Chad Pohlmann as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
