from Ch. 34, par. 3-9003

Amends the Counties Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning additional bond to be posted by a State's attorney when required to do so by the appropriate circuit court.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning local government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by changing Section 3-9003 as follows:

(55 ILCS 5/3-9003) (from Ch. 34, par. 3-9003)

Sec. 3-9003. Additional bond. Whenever the the circuit court shall deem the bond filed by any State's attorney insufficient, the circuit court may require additional bond, in any penalty not exceeding that specified in Section 3-9001.
