105 ILCS 5/34-18.61 new

Amends the School Code. Requires each school district maintaining any of grades 9 through 12 to post on the district's website information for its students on vocational schools, including how a student can access or apply to a vocational school. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning education.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections 10-20.69 and 34-18.61 as follows:

(105 ILCS 5/10-20.69 new)

Sec. 10-20.69. Vocational school information. Each school district maintaining any of grades 9 through 12 must post on the district's website information for its students on vocational schools, including how a student can access or apply to a vocational school.

(105 ILCS 5/34-18.61 new)

Sec. 34-18.61. Vocational school information. The school district must post on the district's website information on vocational schools for students in grades 9 through 12, including how a student can access or apply to a vocational school.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
