SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Amelia Rose "Amy" Phelps; and

WHEREAS, Amelia Phelps served as a Eucharistic Minister at the St. Louis de Montfort Church; and

WHEREAS, Amelia Phelps was the beloved wife of Kenneth D.; the loving mother of Michael (Lynda), Jean (Robert) Matyskiel, Margaret Abel, Mildred Phelps, Dorothy (John) Rosier, and Wallace (Jonna); the dear grandmother of Michael (Amanda), Jonathan (Jamie), Frank, Michelle, Kimberly, Ryan, and Paul; the dearest great-grandmother of Austin and Madelyn; the cherished sister of the late Robert Dabicci; the fond sister-in-law of Marilyn; and the loving mother-in-law of Mark Klein and Joseph Berardi; and

WHEREAS, Amelia Phelps' love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared her to her family members, friends, and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Amelia Rose "Amy" Phelps; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Amelia Rose "Amy" Phelps as an expression of our sympathy.
