SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Gary H. Swanson of Waukegan, who passed away on July 4, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Gary H. Swanson was a lifelong resident of Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, Gary H. Swanson served with pride and distinction as a member of the United States Air Force; and

WHEREAS, Gary H. Swanson was employed as a concrete worker for many years; and

WHEREAS, Gary H. Swanson was the beloved son of Bertha Swanson and the late Elmer Swanson; and the fond brother of Richard Swanson, Sandra Deaton, and Linda Sczesny; he also cherished his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and numerous friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Gary H. Swanson; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Gary H. Swanson as an expression of our sympathy.
