SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Thomas J. Lee of Pleasant Prairie,
4 Wisconsin, who passed away on March 11, 2008; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Thomas J. Lee was born on April 24, 1961 in Lake
6 Forest; on May 9, 1987, he married the love of his life, Donna
7 Vanderventer; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Thomas J. Lee was a dedicated employee of
9 Campanella & Sons of Wadsworth for 16 years; he was a proud
10 member of Local #150 Operating Engineers for 21 years; and
 
11     WHEREAS, Thomas J. Lee enjoyed spending time with his wife,
12 nephews, nieces, and his dogs, Dodger and Sophia; and
 
13     WHEREAS, Thomas J. Lee was preceded in death by his beloved
14 grandmother, Mimi Lee; and his beloved mother-in-law, Pat
15 Vanderventer; and
 
16     WHEREAS, Thomas J. Lee is survived by his wife, Donna; his
17 father, Jim (Bernice) Lee; his sister, Holly (Rick) Hemmer; his
18 father-in-law, Don Vanderventer; his brother-in-law, Jim (Nan)
19 Vanderventer; his sister-in-law, Leslie (Juan) Vanderventer;
20 his brothers-in-law, Don (Mary Ellen) Vanderventer and Scott

1 (Cherri) Vanderventer; and his nieces and nephews, Katie
2 (Blair) Schofield, Cory Whipple, Dillon McPherson, Devin and
3 Katie Erdal, Scotty and Kelli Vanderventer, and Wesley
4 Schofield; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Thomas J. Lee will be remembered by all who knew
6 and loved him as a kind, loving, and gentle man; therefore, be
7 it
 
8     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
9 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
10 his family and friends, the passing of Thomas J. Lee; and be it
11 further
 
12     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13 presented to the family of Thomas J. Lee as an expression of
14 our sympathy.
