SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Edward "Ed" Clark of Waukegan, who passed away on December 27, 2007; and

WHEREAS, He was born on July 9, 1945; and he was a graduate of Waukegan High School; and

WHEREAS, He retired from the Waukegan School District as a mechanic; he also worked for Lee Auto Parts; and

WHEREAS, Ed Clark was an avid car enthusiast who loved to restore and drive his street rods; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Clark Sr.; and

WHEREAS, Edward Clark is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his sons, Robert Clark, Edward A. (Debbie) Clark Jr., Jeff (Jennifer) Goza, Gregory Goza, and Griffin Goza; his grandchildren, Susan, Richard, and Brandon Clark, Phoebe, Hayley, Brittany, and Brandon Goza; his mother, Cecelia Clark; his sister, Barbara (Donald) Robbins; his special family friend, Wendy Richards; and his devoted pets, Sunnie and Teddie; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Edward "Ed" Clark; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Edward "Ed" Clark as a symbol of our sympathy.
