SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dale E. Studnicki of Wood River, who passed away on December 25, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Dale E. Studnicki was born on April 14, 1957 in Alton; his parents were Henry and Delores (Dudley) Studnicki; and

WHEREAS, Dale E. Studnicki was a former employee with Environmental Services of the former Wood River Township Hospital and Challenge Unlimited in Alton; and

WHEREAS, Dale E. Studnicki was a member of Holy Angels Parish; and

WHEREAS, Dale E. Studnicki was an avid Cardinals baseball fan; he collected memorabilia, attended spring training sessions, and watched or listened to games every chance he got; he was also an avid fan of the athletic teams of East Alton-Wood River High School for many years; and

WHEREAS, Dale E. Studnicki was preceded in death by his niece, Rachel Hayes; and

WHEREAS, Dale E. Studnicki is survived by his sister, Carol (Craig) Hayes; his brothers, Mark (Brenda) Studnicki and Terry (Roberta) Studnicki; his nieces and nephews, Kerry Studnicki, Jeremie Studnicki, Misty Studnicki, Joshua Studnicki, Andrew Studnicki, Megan Hayes, Tyler Hayes, Ryan Hayes, and Amanda (Steve) McNamer; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordan Hendricks, Justice Hendricks, and Blake Thompson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Dale E. Studnicki; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dale E. Studnicki as an expression of our sympathy.
