SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Thomas Alfred Hurrell of Sugar Grove, who passed away on January 20, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Hurrell was born September 15, 1958 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and

WHEREAS, He was a member of Holy Angel Church; he was the owner of Merus Management Group in Naperville and the past president of the Kiwanis Club of Aurora; he was an avid outdoorsman; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Hurrell was a kind and compassionate man who loved his family deeply and held a deep devotion to God; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Hurrell was preceded in death by his father-in-law, William E. Lenert, Sr.; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Hurrell is survived by his loving wife, Dianne (Lenert); his children, Thomas Alfred Hurrell, Jr., Mary LaMese Hurrell, and Sarah Lugenia Hurrell; his parents, Ernest J. and Lucille (Albert) Hurrell; his sister, LaMese (Gordon) Hurrell-Coupe; his brothers, Albert (Ruth) Hurrell, John (Juli) Hurrell, and William Hurrell; his mother-in-law, Eugenia Lenert; his sisters-in-law, Sharon (Dennis) Kripp, Sheila (Michael) Conners, Marsha (Jeffery) Moran, and Joyce (Hal) Hindley; his brother-in-law, William E. (Mary) Lenert, Jr.; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Thomas Alfred Hurrell; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Thomas Alfred Hurrell as an expression of our sympathy.
