SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lisa Kay Franke-Haida of Belleville, who passed away on December 28, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Lisa Franke-Haida was born on September 11, 1957, in Staunton; her parents were Arnold and Roseanne, nee Moruskey, Franke; she married Robert Haida on August 20, 1988; and

WHEREAS, Lisa Franke-Haida was employed as a trial attorney for Hepler and Broom Law Firm in Edwardsville; and

WHEREAS, Lisa Franke-Haida was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ; and

WHEREAS, Lisa Franke-Haida was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bernard and Johannah Franke, and her maternal grandparents, Stanley and Jennie Moruskey; and

WHEREAS, Lisa Franke-Haida is survived by her husband of 19 years, Robert; her sons, Tyler and Brian Haida; her parents; her sisters, Cara (Kent) Lytle, Jenny (David) Hall, and Susan (Patrick) Jordan; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Judy Haida; her brothers-in-law, Don (Patsy) Haida, Tom (Gina) Haida, and Neil Haida; and her nieces and nephews, Luke Lytle, Dan (Jayme) Lytle, Nicholas Haida, Alexandra Hall, Logan Hall, Preston Jordan, Sydney Jordan, and Abby Haida; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Lisa Franke-Haida; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lisa Kay Franke-Haida as an expression of our sympathy.
