SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Michael Aery, who passed away on December 7, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Michael J. Aery was born March 24, 1962, in Alton; he was the loving son of William J. and A. Charlene (Gammaitoni) Aery of Godfrey; and

WHEREAS, Michael Aery was raised in the Alton-Godfrey area and attended Alton Senior High School; he graduated from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, where he earned a degree in water and wastewater management; and

WHEREAS, He was an accomplished electrician, who prided himself on a job well done and enjoyed many other talents; and

WHEREAS, In addition to his parents, he is survived by the love of his life, his fiancee, Kathy Mundy; his brother, Neil Aery, and his sister-in-law, Pam; his sister, Gail (Aery) Hill and her husband, Alan; his brother, Mark Aery; his nephews and nieces, who will all miss him dearly, Justin and Matthew Hill, Justin Ian Acker and Maggie, Cassidy, and Sophia Aery; and his good friend, Michael Yankovich; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Michael Aery; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michael Aery as a symbol of our sympathy.
