SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Joshua T. Jones of East Peoria, who passed away on January 24, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Joshua Jones was born on October 13, 1976 in Peoria to Jonathan Kelly and Marchelle (Ice) Jones; and

WHEREAS, Joshua Jones worked for the East Peoria Department of Public Works and was a member of Teamsters Local 627; and

WHEREAS, Joshua T. Jones is survived by his mother and stepfather, Marchelle and David Gotwalt; his father and stepmother, Kelly and Gerri Jones; his fiancee, Laura Fleming; his children, Larissa and Joshua Jr.; his brother, Bobby (Jennifer) Jones; his grandmother, Betty Gotwalt; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we offer our sympathies to the family and friends of Joshua T. Jones and hope for peace at this time of loss; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Joshua T. Jones as a symbol of our respect.
