and

WHEREAS, An "old-fashioned" 1965 Heidelberg press still is
used for jobs that entail die-cutting, but an even older
hand-fed press has been donated to Kennekuk County Preserve's
historic Bunker Hill area; the company uses soy ink, and most
of the paper is recycled; the majority of the jobs tackled
nowadays include full-color printing, soft and hardbound
books, newsletters, trade magazines, and advertising
literature. The print shop has equipment that can "saddle
stitch" booklets and "perfect bind" paperback books; their
customers include local school districts and industries, as
well as customers from Champaign-Urbana, the East Coast, and
the Southwest; and

WHEREAS, the staff of Faulstich Printing is to be commended
for this anniversary occasion; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
congratulate the staff of Faulstich Printing on the 75th
anniversary of the business; and be it further

RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
presented to Fred and Bill Faulstich and Con Bateman as a
symbol of our respect.
